Nature photography is, above all, an exercise in observation and patience.
Many of the images on this site were born after hours, days or even weeks of waiting, in places where nature follows its own rhythm and an encounter with light or wildlife may last only a few moments.
Through these photographs, I try to tell those rare moments when nature reveals itself in its most authentic form.

My name is Marco Marchioni, and for many years nature photography has been my way of observing the world.
Nature has always been a place of discovery for me, but also a space for listening and attention.
Through photography, I try to tell the beauty and complexity of natural environments without forcing or simplifying them.
Every photograph is, first of all, an encounter: with a place, with a particular light, or with an animal in its habitat.
